I used to eat these raisins when I was a kid a long time ago in New Delhi, India. Never bothered to find out where exactly they came from and what were they called as they were available in abundance (at a price, though!). We called them Kishmish in India growing up. I have been craving them for a while now and have managed to acquire these raisins in small quantities at the Organic grocery stores but never reliably. I did an extensive online research to find the Hunza raisins and found out a few online retailers who carry them but were all out of stock - at Nuts.Com they asked for me to leave my email address so when they come in stock they will notify me (I was skeptical) anyway I did it and to my surprise six months later I hear from them that the raisins are back in stock. I ordered 5 pounds immediately, shipping was free over $59 which was an added bonus. They arrived within two days, opening the box made me feel like a kid again at Diwali when all these goodies were distributed and I used to finish off the raisins first (LOL). The raisins did not disappoint me they were as delicious as I remembered them from about 30 years ago. I cannot thank Nuts.Com enough for the quality of the raisins and the packaging. THANK YOU.
