Halawi dates have a thick, soft golden flesh and have a rich, caramel-like sweetness that makes them one of the most beloved varieties of dates. In fact, “halawi” means “sweet” in Arabic. They are similar to the deglet noor variety in shape and color, but have their own unique taste.

Got 5-1 pound bags of these amazing dates. My first time to try these and they are really delicious.... almost sinfully so!! They have a creamy texture and are very sweet!!! I will freeze most of them. Ordered on a Wednesday, got an email that the order had shipped, about 30 minutes after I placed the order, and my great stuff was ordered on Saturday!! Great service and the box and packaging are so creative!!!
