Make a permanent spot in your pantry for our favorite nutritional overachievers, Organic Sprouted Chickpeas! Compared to their unsprouted sibling, sprouted chickpeas (also known as garbanzo beans) are easier to digest and richer in protein, zinc and potassium. Deliciously nutty and creamy, these golden beans make a fantastic addition to all different types of diets from vegan to paleo. Transform them into a savory snack by popping them into the oven with your favorite zesty spices, or try them as a meatless main in a batch of chickpea patties!
Sprouted Foods in a Nutshell
New to sprouted foods? Let us plant the seed for ya! In fact, each little granule of this product started out as seeds; think tree nuts, grains or legumes. Unlike the standard seed growing process, sprouted seeds are germinated, which means they’re soaked and rinsed until they grow small tail-like ends. At that point, enzymes within the plant are activated and the sprouted seed reaches its full nutrient potential; meaning it contains more fiber, protein and nutrients than unsprouted plants.
Why Shout For Sprouts:
- Easy to digest
- Packed with easy-to-absorb vitamins, minerals and antioxidants
- Reduces inflammation
- Great for gluten sensitive diets
- Taste just as delicious as unsprouted foods
- Great for snacking, cooking and baking
Ingredients:
Organic Sprouted Chickpeas Packaged in the same facility as: Peanuts, Tree Nut, Wheat, Soy, Milk, Sesame, Fish, Shellfish, Egg, and Sulfites.

They are dry dead. I tried sprouting them and they are slimy after several days of rinse. No one developed tails and they splitting apart.

I'm not clear if these MUST be cooked, but as they are, they are way too hard to eat. I was afraid I was going to break teeth and had to spit it out.
