Irish Breakfast tea is a blend of teas traditionally favored by the Irish for its pungent, brisk and malty amber brew. It is a blend of several black teas, usually predominantly Assam black teas. Its dark, potent character is sometimes compared to Irish stout beer. The Irish take this tea (they just call it tea, not Irish tea!) with milk, but it’s also great with just a slice of lemon.
